Talking to a PMI Romania Chapter volunteer

Hello, Daniela Ganea here—project manager by profession and volunteer in my spare time.🙂 Volunteering with the Project Management Institute (PMI) Romania Chapter has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I’ve had the chance to dive into some amazing projects, like the Annual Conference 2023 | PM Perspectives and the upcoming Annual Conference 2024 | Project Management of the Future (happening on September 27, 2024—don’t miss it!). It’s been such a joy to contribute my project management skills and to collaborate with a team that’s as passionate and dedicated as I am. The opportunities I’ve had to engage with the PMI community have really boosted my professional growth and made me feel more connected to the world of project management. Besides this: We’re a creative and cheerful team with our inside jokes. Even during tough times—a natural part of any project—we stay positive and work together to find solutions. To future volunteers: Getting involved with PMI Romania isn’t just about professional growth—it’s also personally fulfilling. You’ll find a community where your efforts truly make a difference, and you’ll form meaningful, lasting relationships. Whether you’re just starting out in project management or you’ve been at it for years, there’s a place for you here. PMI Romania offers so many ways to get involved, from event planning to communications, education, and mentoring. Whatever your interests or experience level, there’s a role where you can contribute and grow. In short, volunteering with PMI Romania has been a fantastic experience, and I’m genuinely excited about future projects and their impact on the project management profession in Romania. I highly encourage anyone interested to join and make a difference
