CAMP

Who should apply?

If you work with project teams and manage requirements or product development, or you are a project or program manager who performs business analysis in your role, PMI-CAPM® certification is right for you.

Earn and maintain PMI-CAPM:
  • The certification exam has 150 questions and you have three hours to complete it.
  • CAPM certification holders must earn 15 PDUs every three years to maintain certification. Find out the specific requirements of the PDU.

Non-member: USD $300

  • Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
  • 23 hours of project management education completed by the time you sit for the exam. Our Project Management Basics online course fulfills this educational prerequisite

PBA

Who should apply?

If you work with project teams and manage requirements or product development, or if you’re a project or program manager who performs business analysis in your role, then the PMI-PBA® certification is right for you.

  • The certification exam has 200 multiple-choice questions and you have four hours to complete it.
  • To maintain your PMI-PBA, you must earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) in business analysis topics every three years.

ACP

Who should apply?

If you work on agile teams or if your organization is adopting agile practices, the PMI-ACP is a good choice for you. The PMI-ACP is evidence of your real-world, hands-on experience and skill as part of an agile team.

Gain and maintain PMI-ACP:
  • The certification exam has 120 multiple-choice questions and you have three hours to complete it.
  • To maintain your PMI-ACP, you must earn 30 professional development units (PDUs) in agile topics every three years.

Before you apply, make sure you meet of the following sets of ACP Certification requirements:

  • Secondary degree
  • 21 contact hours of training in agile practices
  • 12 months of general project experience within the last 5 years. A current PMP® or PgMP® will satisfy this requirement but is not required to apply for the PMI-ACP.
  • 8 months of agile project experience within the last 3 years

PfMP

Who should apply?

If you’re an executive or senior-level practitioner managing a portfolio of projects and programs aligned with organizational strategy and focused on doing the right work, then the PfMP is the right choice for you.

Gain and maintain PMI-PfMP:
  • First phase of evaluation is panel review
  • The certification exam has 170 multiple-choice questions and you have four hours to complete it.
  • To maintain your PfMP, you must earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) in portfolio management topics every three years.

Before you apply, make sure you meet of the following sets of PfMP Certification requirements:

  • All applicants must possess a minimum of 96 months of professional business experience within the last 15 years AND
  • Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)

PgMP

Who should apply?

If you have the proven ability to manage multiple, related projects and navigate complex activities that span functions, organizations, regions or cultures and to align results with organizational goals, then you’re a potential PgMP.

Gain and maintain PMI-PgMP:
  • First phase of evaluation is panel review
  • The certification exam has 170 multiple-choice questions, and you have four hours to complete it.
  • To maintain your PgMP, you must earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) every three years.

If you have advanced knowledge and experience in risk management, or if you are a project manager focused on project risk management, including for large projects and/or complex environments, then the PMI-RMP® is an excellent choice for you.

  • The certification exam has 170 multiple-choice questions and you have 3.5 hours to complete it.
  • To maintain your PMI-RMP, you must earn 30 professional development units (PDUs) in risk management topics every three years.

  • To maintain your PMI-SP, you must earn 30 professional development units (PDUs) every three years in the specialized topic of project scheduling.

DASSM
